Implementing PRIMHD for Mental Health NGO Service Providers

PRIMHD is the Project for the Integration of Mental Health Data in New Zealand. This project integrates the Mental Health Information National Collection (MHINC) with the Mental Health Standard Measures of Assessment and Recovery initiative (MH-SMART) to form a single national data collection for mental health and addiction. For more information on PRIMHD, please visit: PRIMHD Home page.

If you currently do not have a Client Management System (CMS), you may be able to benefit from our ‘Benecura’ CMS platform. Benecura comes with a PRIMHD module which can be implemented to work with your PRIMHD dataset. Alternatively, our team can work with your existing CMS (and incumbent system provider) to implement PRIMHD capability for your organisation. Below is a high level overview of how Benecura delivers PRIMHD data to the MoH system via its PRIMHD module. This module can be integrated to work together with your existing CMS.

To implement PRIMHD in your organisation, we suggest the following process:
  1. Engage with your NGO PRIMHD contact person at the Ministry of Health (MoH) to verify the stage (2, 3, 4 or 5) and timeframe that you have been allocated for meeting national PRIMHD compliancy. For more information on PRIMHD, please visit: PRIMHD Help and Contacts
  2. Agree and sign-off with MoH on your specific PRIMHD dataset (activities, teams, codes, etc.)
  3. Engage our experienced team at Augen to assist you after the completion of steps 1 and 2.
If you require immediate assistance now or just more information on how the team at Augen can help implement PRIMHD for your organisation, or to find out more about the features and benefits of our Benecura CMS platform offer, please contact us at the below email addresses:
